Lokomaikaʻi Hawaiʻi Heritage Center
The Lokomaikaʻi Hawaiʻi Heritage Center is a place to honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future. Guided by the legacy of King William Charles Lunalilo, the People’s King, the Center is dedicated to preserving and sharing Hawaiʻi’s rich cultural traditions.
Here, community members and visitors will find opportunities to engage with Hawaiian history, values, and practices through exhibits, programs, and events that foster learning and connection.
The Center is operated for the King Lunalilo Trust by the Hawaiian Music Perpetuation Society (HMPS), whose mission is to perpetuate Hawaiʻi’s musical heritage and ensure it continues to thrive for generations to come. In partnership with HMPS, cultural classes are also offered throughout the week to our kūpuna on both the Residential and Adult Day Care sides, enriching their daily routines through music, language, and cultural learning.
